Eight militants were killed during an operation of security forces in Upper Aurakzai Agency on Sunday.
According to official sources‚ jet fighters pounded hideouts of militants at Mamozai and surrounding areas. Three hideouts were destroyed.
On the other hand‚ four security personnel were injured when their convoy was hit with a remote control bomb on Rizmak road near the Headquarter of North Waziristan Agency. The injured were shifted to CMH Bannu.
